Student panel
On Oct. 24, the Information and the Future task force hosted a student panel composed of 3 students, 2 from the college and one from the seminary. We asked them the following questions:
1. Where do you go to study and why?
2. What information resources do you use to complete your assignments and papers?
3. What are your favorite internet sites? Why do you like them?
4. Do you read blogs or use social networking sites such as MySpace, FaceBook, Xanga, etc.? How do you use these sites?
5. Do you think librarians should play a role in teaching students how to use the internet and about technology? Why or why not?
6. How would you like to see the library change? What do think is the future for academic libraries?
